The 22nd Overseas Elections for National Assembly Members

 

투표대상 Eligible Voters

국외부재자신고인명부 및 재외선거인명부에 등재된 사람

Korean nationals enrolled in official lists of overseas absentee voters or overseas eligible voters

 

국외부재자 Overseas Absentees

주민등록이 되어있는 18세 이상(2006년 4월 11일에 태어난 사람까지)의 대한민국 국민으로서 외국에서 투표하려는 사람

A Korean national of 18 years of age or older (born on or before April 11, 2006), whose resident registration has been made and who intends to exercise his/her voting right in a foreign country

비례대표·지역구국회의원선거권이 있음.

※ 단, 재외국민 주민등록자가 재외투표를 하는 경우 비례대표국회의원선거권만 있음.

Eligible to vote in elections of members of proportional representation and of constituency members of the National Assembly

※ However, overseas voters, who have not been registered as a resident but intends to exercise their voting right in a foreign country, are eligible to vote in an election of members of proportional representation for the National Assembly only

 

재외선거인 Overseas Voters

주민등록이 되어있지 않은 18세 이상(2006년 4월 11일에 태어난 사람까지)의 대한민국 국민으로서 외국에서 투표하려는 사람

A Korean national of 18 years of age or older (born on or before April 11, 2006), whose resident registration has not been made and who intends to exercise his/her voting right in a foreign country

비례대표국회의원선거권만 있음.

Eligible to vote in an election of members of proportional representation for the National Assembly only.

 

준비물 Required Documents

신분증명서(단, 재외선거인은 국적확인서류 원본 함께 지참)

An identification certificate(Overseas eligible voters should also prepare original copies of the documents required to identify the nationality.)

 

‘신분증명서’란? ‘Identification Certificate’

대한민국 관공서 또는 공공기관이 발행한 여권, 주민등록증, 운전면허증, 공무원증 등 사진이 부착된 신분증명서

A certificate issued by a government office or public institution of the Republic of Korea with his or her photo that could verify his or her identification affixed, such as a passport, resident registration certificate, certificate of a public official, or driver’s license

거류국 정부가 발행한 성명, 생년월일이 기재되어 본인 확인이 가능하고 사진이 부착된 신분증명서

A certificate issued by the government of the country in which he or she sojourns with his or her photo affixed and his or her name and date of birth stated, which could verify his or her identification

 

※ 국적확인서류에 사진이 첩부된 경우 별도의 신분증은 필요없음.

※ 국적확인서류는 해당 공관의 홈페이지에서 확인 가능

※ Additional identification certificates are not necessary if a photo is attached to the documents that identify the nationality

※ Documents to identify the nationality are available on the website of the relevant diplomatic mission.

 

귀국투표 Return Voting

재외선거인명부 등에 등재되었으나 재외투표소에서 투표를 하지 않고 귀국한 국외부재자와 재외선거인은 선거일 국내투표소에서 투표할 수 있음.

※ 단, 사전투표소에서는 투표할 수 없음.

Overseas absentees or overseas voters, who are enrolled in the official list of overseas eligible voters but return home without casting their vote at overseas polling stations, can cast their vote on election day at the polling station in Korea.

※ However, they are not eligible to vote at early voting polling stations

귀국투표 신고방법 How to Make a Report for Return Voting

국외부재자 : 인터넷(ova.nec.go.kr), 관할 구 ·시· 군선거관리위원회로 서면(방문 또는 모사전송) 신고

Overseas absentees : Via Internet website (ova.nec.go.kr), or by writing to, visiting, or sending a facsimile to the competent Gu/Si/Gun Election Commission

재외선거인 : 관할 구·시·군선거관리위원회로 방문하여 서면 신고(반드시 국적확인서류 원본 지참)

Overseas voters: Visiting the competent Gu/Si/Gun Election Commission in person (original copies of the documents to identify the nationality required)
